GENERAL QUESTIONS

1. What is the name of the Bible College?
FREEDOM BIBLE & LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE, is an extension of Freedom Church of Albany, focused on equipping believers with sound theological education and spiritual formation.

2. What degree or certification will I receive?
Currently, graduates will receive an Associate Degree in Theology & Biblical Studies upon successful completion of the program.

3. How long is the program?
The program is designed to be completed in 36 weeks over one academic year:

​

  • Summer Term (intensive): 6 weeks
     

  • Fall Semester: 16 weeks
     

  • Spring Semester: 16 weeks

ACADEMIC STRUCTURE

4. How many courses will I take?
Students will complete 10 courses total (2 in Summer, 4 in Fall, 4 in Spring).

5. Are classes in-person, online, or hybrid?
All classes will be hybrid (in person and online), with supplemental  online resources.

6. What is the class schedule like?
Classes will be held on one evening during the week. A detailed schedule will be provided during registration.

ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILTY

7. Do I need to be a member of Freedom Church to enroll?
No. The program is open to all believers who feel called to deepen their understanding of Scripture and ministry.

8. Is a high school diploma or GED required?
Yes, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required for enrollment.

TUITION AND FINANCIAL INFO

9. What is the cost of tuition?
Tuition details will be provided at the meeting. We offer affordable pricing with monthly payment plans available.

10. Are scholarships or financial aid available?
We are currently exploring scholarship and sponsorship options. More information will be shared as available.

SPIRITUAL AND MINISTERIAL FOCUS

11. Is this program just academic, or will it include spiritual development?
FBLI is committed to both theological excellence and spiritual formation. Students will engage in devotions, mentoring, and ministry opportunities.

12. Will I be licensed or ordained after graduation?
Completion of the program does not automatically grant ordination, but it fulfills the academic requirement for those pursuing ministry credentials through our leadership.
